Environmental Management Act and energy conservation information requirements

There will be an energy conservation information obligation for companies and institutions. All companies and institutions that have an energy savings obligation must comply with this information obligation. If you have this obligation, you must let your competent authority know by July 1, 2019, what energy-saving measures you have taken.

The Environmental Management Act requires companies and institutions that consume more than 50,000 kWh of electricity or 25,000 m³ of natural gas (equivalent) per year to implement all energy-saving measures with a payback period of five years or less.
