What does the municipal polling station do?

The Board of Mayor and Aldermen shall establish a Municipal Voting Board (GSB) for each election. The GSB holds a public hearing the day after the vote.

- On voting night, the polling stations count the votes by list as well as by candidate (as under the current Elections Act).

- The following day, during a public session, the GSB checks the minutes of all polling stations. In case of (suspected) errors, all or part of the votes of that polling station are recounted. Any errors are corrected in a so-called corrigendum.
