Summer School Kerkrade
Children ages 6 to 12 can have a blast with activities such as singing, cooking, sports, dancing, photography, meditation, reading and much more during Zomerschool Kerkrade.
Zomerschool Kerkrade is held every year for 4 weeks at SBO Arcadia in Kerkrade. It is an initiative of Jean-Philippe Rieu in cooperation with the municipality of Kerkrade, Vital (Lim) Citizens and with the cooperation of Zuyd Hogeschool, VISTA College, educational foundation Movare, SMK and VAzom.
How, what, where?
The day starts at 9 a.m. and ends at 3 p.m. Wednesday, 12:30 p.m. The activities of Zomerschool Kerkrade take place at SBO Arcadia. The cost for one week of discovery and experience is €75 per child.
The motto of Summer School Kerkrade is "We are much more beautiful than we think we are. Children undertake all kinds of activities together that are healthy in every way. Participation in multiple weeks is possible, provided space is available.
This activity is also eligible for reimbursement through Stichting Leergeld. More information on this can be found on the application form.
