Points of contact in the neighborhood
Kerkrade consists of three districts: Kerkrade-North, Kerkrade-East and Kerkrade-West.
Together with residents, the municipality of Kerkrade is working to create a town where it is nice to live. The Neighborhood Development Team plays an important role in this. The area directors are the contact points in the neighborhoods.
The area directors of Team Neighborhood Development have a lot of contact with residents. They are also often to be found in the neighborhood to minimize the distance between the municipality and the residents. In this way, Team District Development brings together residents, entrepreneurs, associations, (social) partners, educational institutions and the municipality.

The area directors hold one or more consultation hours each week in the neighborhood. During the consultation hour you can ask all your questions and remarks about the neighborhood. The area director will help you or connect you with the right organization and person.
Working together for livability
The area directors and district aldermen work together with residents, entrepreneurs, associations, (social) partners and educational institutions on the quality of life in the various neighborhoods. So that they are nice places to live.
