Application for loan from Energy and Climate Fund Kerkrade possible from September 15

Sustainability measures should be feasible for all residents, associations and entrepreneurs of our municipality. Also for people with a small budget. That is why the municipality of Kerkrade is helping with the Energie en Klimaat Fonds Kerkrade, following the good example of the successful Sustainable Climate and Energy Fund of the municipality of Landgraaf.

Residents, associations and business owners of our municipality with their own home or building can apply for a loan from the Kerkrade Energy and Climate Fund starting September 15, 2022.

Alderman René van Drunen (Sustainability): "This loan helps residents, associations and entrepreneurs to invest in measures to make their homes or buildings more sustainable. This allows them to reduce their energy costs, or ensure less flooding. These measures also contribute to a sustainable Kerkrade!"

What exactly does the fund entail?

You can borrow an amount between €1,000 and €35,000 from the municipality to make your home or business premises more sustainable. The interest rate on the loan is 1.425% and the loan has a term of 15 years. In addition, you pay an administration fee.
Please note, borrowing money costs money!

Note! Borrowing money costs money, with behind it a puppet dragging a euro sign behind him like a block on his leg
