Residents' platforms
A residents' platform is a group of people from a neighborhood or district. They are committed to improving the quality of life in their neighborhood. They meet regularly to discuss how the neighborhood can be improved, how people can participate more and how the neighborhood can develop.
The resident platforms in Kerkrade advise the municipality on neighborhood issues. They use their knowledge and experience to help. For example, by talking to residents, discussing problems in the neighborhood and asking residents about their ideas for the neighborhood.
Each district has its own resident platform.
