“Talk About Tomorrow Today” Event on May 7
How would you like to live as you get older? And what options are available in Kerkrade? Many people think about this from time to time, but we don’t always talk about it. It’s precisely by discussing it together that things become clearer. For yourself, your children, and the people around you. Following a successful first meeting, the second meeting will be held on Thursday, May 7, at Wijkpunt ’t Westhoes.
This afternoon, we’ll sit down together for a conversation in a calm and pleasant atmosphere. Among other things, we’ll discuss:
- Senior Housing Today and How to Qualify
- Current living situation and choices for the future
- Options and plans for housing in Kerkrade-West
The atmosphere is calm and relaxed. You’re welcome to listen, share, or just be there. It’s all good.
During the meeting, you’ll reflect on your current living situation and the choices you can make for the future. HEEMwonen will explain and provide information about the options available in Kerkrade-West. You’ll also have the opportunity to ask questions in a safe environment.
Everyone is welcome, and coffee, tea, and cake will be waiting for you.

This meeting is being organized in collaboration with our partners KBO Kerkrade, Kerkrade Senior Citizens' Council, and Centrale voor Ouderen (Center for the Elderly).
Follow-up meetings will be held on June 18 and August 27. At those meetings, we will delve deeper into other specific topics.
