Arriva Dal Vrij Limburg Now Available to More Residents

Since July 14, more low-income residents have been able to use Arriva Dal Vrij Limburg. Residents with an income of up to 100 percent of the social minimum who do not receive the “ Social assistance benefit ” benefit can now apply for the program themselves through the online portal.

Residents with a “ Social assistance benefit ” were already able to use the “Dal Vrij Limburg” program. With this expansion, other low-income residents will also be eligible. As a result, more people will be able to travel for free on Arriva’s buses and trains in Limburg during off-peak hours.

Apply online

The application can be submitted online atwww.arriva.nl/dalvrijlimburg. A digital income assessment is automatically conducted during the application process. This determines whether the applicant meets the Requirements .

A personal code is no longer required to submit an application. Even residents who previously received a letter with a unique code can use the digital portal directly. All applications are processed entirely throughwww.arriva.nl/dalvrijlimburg

Free travel during off-peak hours

Arriva Dal Vrij Limburg is intended for residents with an income of up to 100 percent of the social minimum. They can travel for free on Arriva buses and trains in Limburg during off-peak hours.

“With the expansion of Arriva Dal Vrij Limburg, we’re making it possible for even more residents to travel without incurring additional transportation costs. This expands their opportunities to get to work, school, family, friends, or other important appointments. Through this program, we’re contributing to an inclusive society where everyone has the chance to participate,” said John Roland ( Alderman , Poverty Policy).

Arriva is implementing the program on behalf of the Province of Limburg.
