Kerkrade is working hard on an environmental vision for the future to 2040. We invite everyone to share wishes and ideas with us. Together, we can make Kerkrade's future even more beautiful. From developing green and livable neighborhoods to better traffic safety to more housing for first-time buyers. Because Kerkrade is of and for everyone!
Every household will receive in the next few days by mail a Map calling for input on the environmental vision. But, what exactly is this? The environment vision describes the dot on the horizon of the municipality of Kerkrade. What should the municipality look like in 2040? The environment vision describes the future of everything you can see, experience, hear and smell outside. It covers various topics such as housing, mobility, nature, water, spatial planning and the economy.
You can participate digitally in thinking about the environmental vision via the platform Gemeentepeiler. Simply register with your name, e-mail address and zip code. This gives us a good picture of the opinions in the various districts and neighborhoods of the city. If you fill out the questionnaire, you give us permission to process your data.
