Eurode Omloop 2025

Sunday, August 24, the Eurode Omloop 2025 will take place. Therefore, please be aware of traffic restrictions and detours on that day.

Practical information

  • The start and finish is on the Brugmolenweg. The race will take place between 13:00 and +/- 17:00.
  • Brugmolenweg will be closed from Kerkradersteenweg intersection to Kaffebergsweg from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm.
  • The race course will be closed starting at 12:30 pm. The course will remain closed throughout the race. This means
    that no traffic is allowed on the course. The route will be closed by traffic signs and/or traffic controllers.
  • Parking and stopping bans are in place at some spots on the course.
  • To keep neighborhoods and roads accessible as much as possible, cut-throughs and access routes have been established. These are only
    open between the closing and head coach.

Route course

The trail runs through:

Brugmolenweg, Toupsbergstraat, Sint Pieterstraat, Beukenbosweg, Rembrandt van Rijnstraat, Franshalsstraat, Haanraderweg, Lichtenbergstraat, Kloosterbosstraat, Sint Pieterstraat, Lindenlaan, Haanraderweg, Meuserstraat, Grensstraat, Kloosterlindenweg, Graaf Saffenburgweg, Rolduckerstraat, Koninginneweg, Koningsweg, Wijngracht Brugmolenweg.

Prohibited parking

Parking is prohibited in the following locations:

  • Beukenbosweg, Rembrandt van Rijnstraat, Frans Halsstraat (to Haanraderweg)
    Parking and stop prohibition (both sides) from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
  • Kloosterbosstraat
    Parking and stop ban (both sides) from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
  • Kloosterlindenweg (Grensstraat to transition bike path)
    Parking and stop ban (both sides) from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
  • Rolduckerstraat
    Parking and stop prohibition, only parking spaces on carriageway beginning of street (Orange Square) 08:00 - 18:00 hours
  • Meuserstraat (from Haanraderweg bend)
    Parking ban (driving direction towards Germany) from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Crossing the route

You can cross the trail at the following places:

  • Heiligenhuisstraat - Schepenenstraat
  • Akkerheide - Schepenstraat
  • Vinker Street - St. Leonardus Street
  • St. Paulus Street - Chevremont Street
  • Roderlandbaan - Roderlandbaan (Rolduc traffic circle)
  • Our Lady's Street - Our Lady's Street

Area course accessibility

There are several access routes to keep the area around the trail accessible. 

Access route 1

Entry and exit. St. Pieterstraat - Antoon Hubbenstraat
Roundabout St. Pieterstraat-Beukenbosweg-Antoon Hubbenstraat is partially blocked off. 

Half traffic circle is used for flow through St. Pieterstraat, Antoon Hubbenstraat. Beechbosweg and St. Pieterstraat (towards Zonstraat) not accessible.

Access route 2

Entry only. Coming from Vinkerstraat
Directions streets: Rembrandt van Rijnstraat, Lichtenbergstraat, Jan Steenstraat, Adriaen van Ostadestraat, Pieter de Hooghstraat, Jan Vermeerstraat, Paulus Potterstraat, Jacob Ruysdaelstraat, Frans Halsstraat.

Only ride with race direction.

Access route 3

Exit only. Coming from: Rembrandt van Rijnstraat, Lichtenbergstraat, Jan Steenstraat, Adriaen van Ostadestraat, Pieter de Hooghstraat, Jan Vermeerstraat, Paulus Potterstraat, Jacob Ruysdaelstraat, Frans Halsstraat.
Direction Haanraderweg , Meuserstraat (direction Eygelshoven). Meuserstraat towards Germany not possible.

Only ride with race direction.

Access route 4

Entry and exit. Coming from: Maple Street, Dean Deutz Avenue, Chestnut Street, Birch Avenue
Exiting: Dean Deutz Avenue, Director van der Muhlen Avenue, Sun Street.

Entrance: Sun Street, Director van der Muhlen Avenue, Dean Deutz Avenue.

Access route 5

Exit only. Coming from: Meinweidestraat, Recor Thomasstraat, Lodewijk van Deyselstraat, Jac. Schreursstraat, Felix Ruttenstraat. Direction Haanraderweg , Meuserstraat (direction Eygelshoven). 

Meuser Street toward Germany not possible.

Exit only via Meinweidestraat and Haanraderweg.

Entry possible via Vinker Street, Access Route 1 and entry at Meinweidestraat.
Drive in race direction only.

Access route 6

Entry and exit. Wijngracht - Caspar Sprokelstraat

Traffic circle Koningsweg-Wijngracht-Casparsprokelstraat is partially blocked off. Half traffic circle is used for flow through Wijngracht, Caspar Sprokelstraat. 

Kings Road and Wijngracht tunnel not accessible.
