Festivity company, association or school

What is it?

As a company, association or school, you may hold a festivity a few times a year where you make a lot of noise. For example:

  • A musical performance at a café
  • a street party together with other associations
  • a staff party with a band or DJ
  • a school tournament

If you wish to organize such an event, please notify the municipality at least one week before the scheduled event.

Other permits or waivers

Ask the municipality if you need to apply for any other permits or waivers. For example, a parking waiver or waivers for serving alcohol.

Additional information

No disturbance may occur during the event. A disturbance is defined as a situation in which the volume of the music exceeds the normal noise standard for this location or activity by more than 20 dB(A).

While music is playing, windows and doors must remain closed. They may only be opened to allow people or items to pass through directly.
