Handicapped parking

You can apply for your own disabled parking space under the following Requirements :

You are the driver

• For a disabled parking space at your residence, you are registered in the Basic Registration of PersonsBRP) at that address.
• For disabled parking near your workplace, you need a statement from your employer that you work there.
• The vehicle's registration number is in your name or your roommate's name.
• If the license plate is in the name of a leasing company or business, you will have a statement from the license plate holder that you are the daily driver.
• You have a disabled parking permit.
• You do not have your own parking, such as a garage or driveway.

You are the passenger

• You cannot be left alone at your home when the driver picks up and parks the car.
• You always depend on the driver's help for door-to-door transportation.
• There are no opportunities to get in or out in front of your home or workplace.
• You are registered in the Basic Registration of PersonsBRP) at the same address as the driver of the car.
• The car's registration number is in your name or the driver's name.
• If the license plate is in the name of a leasing company or business, you will have a statement from the license plate holder stating that the driver is the daily user of the car.
• You have a disabled parking permit.
• You do not have your own parking, such as a garage or driveway.

• Apply for the disabled parking space with the municipality.
• Please include the license plate number of your car.
• Indicate clearly where you want the parking space.

• (Copy of) your disabled parking permit
• Statement from your employer, if you want the parking space at your workplace.

Disabled parking space application

You log in with your DigiD. You will immediately receive a confirmation of receipt by e-mail. 

Within 8 weeks, you will receive a response to your application. After that, it will take several weeks for the parking lot to be constructed.
