Enforcement

Enforcement officers of the municipality of Kerkrade are tasked with ensuring livability, safety and enforcement in public areas.

They work with residents, businesses and chain partners to find solutions to issues related to laws and regulations, including the General Local Bye-Law (APV) and parking management. To this end, they often enter into discussions with those involved in order to find a good solution together. In doing so, the enforcers do monitor the boundaries of what can and cannot be done to achieve the goal. For monitoring the boundaries, the enforcer can sometimes draw up an official report.

Our residents are the eyes and ears of the neighborhood. Together we can enhance the livability and sense of safety in our community.
