Ribbon Race 2022

On the occasion of King's Day, four Kerkrade residents received Royal Awards, or "ribbons," on Tuesday morning, April 26. 

The awards were presented at the home and office address by Mayor Petra Dassen-Housen. 

Presentation of royal decoration to Mr. H.J.F. and Mrs. A.P. Huls - Mahr 

Tonny and Huub Huls, both Member in the Order of Orange-Nassau, for their dedication in recent years to foster children with mental and/or intellectual disabilities. Read more

Annie Klein Breteler-Hommen, Member in the Order of Orange-Nassau, for her dedication to KWF Kankerbestrijding, to Impuls, the library, Meander, Parkstad Limburg theaters and Ziekensectie Holz. And for activities as ambassador of the Kerkrade dialect. Read more
