Mr. C.A.J. (Chris) Lindelauf has been appointed Knight of the Order of Orange-Nassau.

From 1983 to 1998, Mr. Lindelauf was an active board member of tennis club ATIVU. Until 1991, he held the role of president. He then served as a board member until 1998.
In addition to all the regular duties a board member performs, he helped organize various activities, such as social tournaments.

In addition, from 1985 to 01-08-2020, Mr. Lindelauf was (chief) federation delegate to the KNLTB and oversaw the organization of tennis tournaments. Mr. Lindelauf was chief union delegate in Limburg and did the coordination of all union delegates in this province. He also functioned as a federation delegate himself in the province. Mr. Lindelauf was always ready to help associations organize a successful tennis tournament.

From 1990 to 01-08-2020, Mr. Lindelauf additionally held an administrative position with the KNLTB as a Member District Working Group on Tournaments and Events. In this position, he provided the KNLTB with advice and support in the area of tournaments and events. He acted as ambassador for tennis in the Netherlands and Limburg in particular. He regularly visited tennis clubs and tennis tournaments and was always willing to offer advice and support. In this way, he guided the 50 tennis clubs around here.

He was also involved as a volunteer in the organization of the Limburg Tennis Masters from 1990 to 01-08-2020. An annual tournament circuit is organized in all provinces, concluding with a Masters tournament in which the best players from each province are invited.

Since 2000, Mr. Lindelauf has been associated with St. Ursula Elementary School as a volunteer.
Here he has many duties and responsibilities. For example, he is a VVN brigadier, coordinator of VVN brigadiers for parents and students. He is also a stay-at-home parent and coordinator of stay-at-home parents. In addition, he performs various janitorial activities and is a cook and caterer at school activities and festivities. He helps organize and support the Children's Parade and participates in the parade himself. Finally, he is also active as an administrative assistant. Mr. Lindelauf offers students a listening ear and is always willing to lend a helping hand. These activities have been dormant since the corona time in 2020. 

In addition to the above activities, Mr. Lindelauf has also been a volunteer at the Parish of Saint Lambert Kerkrade since 2001. Here he takes care of all common works in the church, such as delivering the parish magazines and helping to organize special celebrations. For several years he has also been a member of the "praying fathers.
