Air Quality
Annually, the college reviews local air quality against the standards set forth in the "Air Quality Act. The way in which the test is carried out is prescribed by law. Based on traffic data, the air quality is calculated and tested against the standards in accordance with the calculation model made available nationally for this purpose.
Thus, no actual air measurements take place. The reason for this is that it is difficult to carry out these measurements adequately enough to obtain reliable data. The Air Quality Act therefore provides that air quality is generally determined by means of calculations (which must meet certain requirements).
