Discrimination.nl Limburg implements the Municipal Anti-Discrimination Act for almost all Limburg municipalities.
This means that anyone who feels discriminated against - on any ground - can report to them .
Discriminatie.nl Limburg not only handles complaints about discrimination, but also registers them and processes them, anonymously, in reports. The annual report goes to the municipalities in Limburg for which they work, so they know how things stand with discrimination in their municipality. Such as: which groups of people are discriminated against and on which grounds are they most discriminated against? For example, on grounds of disability and chronic illness or on grounds of origin.
All important information; because this allows us as municipalities to determine or adjust our policies. The responsible minister also receives the report.
Finally, Discriminatie.nl Limburg also provides training and information. At schools, with companies, with social organizations: wherever it is desired and useful.
