New Knopen Lopen walking network in South Limburg

In South Limburg, you can walk along the revamped Knopen Lopen Zuid-Limburg junction network. With approximately 1,900 kilometers of walking routes and around 1,900 junctions, the network connects all sixteen municipalities between Sittard-Geleen, Vaals, and Eijsden-Margraten in one coherent system.

Hikers can easily plan their own route by connecting numbered junctions. This allows you to determine the distance and landscape yourself: from rolling hills and stream valleys to nature reserves and characteristic village centers.

The network has been completely revamped and is in line with the ambitions for an attractive, accessible, and high-quality South Limburg. For residents, this means even more opportunities to enjoy nature and exercise close to home. For visitors, it offers a clear and user-friendly system for discovering the region.
