Meeting bus Kerkrade
Gemeente Kerkrade is tackling loneliness with the Ontmoetingsbus. This bus is intended to meet people, find a listening ear and make new contacts. The bus runs six half-days a week through various neighborhoods in Kerkrade. Do you feel like a cup of coffee and a chat? Then come to the Ontmoetingsbus in your neighborhood.
Meeting Bus Route and Times.
Tuesday:
- Hambos, Kapellaan 2: 10 a.m.-12 p.m.
- Markt, Kerkrade: 1 p.m. - 3 p.m.
Wednesday:
- Eygelshoven, Terbruggen: 10 a.m.-12 p.m.
- Rolduckerveld, Hertoglaan 15 - 17: 1 p.m. - 3 p.m.
Thursday:
- Spekholzerheide, Patronaatstraat: 10 a.m.-12 p.m.
- Nulland, Maria Gorettiplein: 1 p.m. - 3 p.m.
The Meeting Bus is a joint project of the Salvation Army, welfare organization Impuls, and the municipality of Kerkrade. The Salvation Army provides the practical implementation.
On Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, the Meeting Bus travels through neighborhoods and districts in Kerkrade. During bad weather and strong winds, the Ontmoetingsbus does not ride.
Clothing
The Meeting Bus also offers "second chance clothing. Visitors can also turn in usable clothes and shoes themselves.
