Personal advice on energy and money
A high energy bill can have a significant impact on your monthly budget. You might be able to save money by adjusting your energy plan or using less energy. There are also municipal programs that can help keep other fixed expenses affordable.
A staff member will work with you to assess your personal situation. Among other things, you can receive advice on:
- Your Energy Contract: Does Your Current Energy Contract Still Fit Your Situation?
- Your energy usage: where can you save energy? For example, you can get small energy-saving items for free, such as draft stoppers, LED bulbs, and a water-saving showerhead.
- Municipal programs: What grants and other programs might you be eligible for? For example, you might receive assistance with the costs of your internet subscription or sports club membership through the SCA program.
You’ll receive advice tailored to your situation. This will help you discover all the options available to you. You can use the money you save to build up a financial cushion, for example. That way, you’ll be better prepared for unexpected expenses and higher energy costs.
Where and when can you go?
Every Friday (through December 18), you can visit our staff member at the GeldWijzerWinkel between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
Don't forget to bring your energy contract and, if applicable, your final bill.
