St. Peter's Street - Roderland Road

The St. Pieterstraat-Roderlandbaan grade-separated junction is undergoing a transformation. The existing viaduct is being demolished and replaced by a modern single-lane roundabout. 

At the same time, trees and forest plants will be planted, the entrance and exit of the Roderlandbaan at Beukenbosweg will be removed, and Bokkenrijdersweg will be completely redesigned.

These measures improve traffic flows, which have changed within Kerkrade since the construction of the Buitenring Parkstad. In addition, the expansion of green spaces creates a more pleasant living environment and strengthens ecological connections in the region.
