Voting pass for municipal elections

Are you registered in the Municipal Personal Records Database of the municipality of Kerkrade on February 2, 2026? And are you eligible to vote (you are eligible to vote)? 

You will then receive a voting pass with which you can vote in Kerkrade for the municipal council elections. You will receive your voting pass in your mailbox at home no later than March 4, 2026.

You can vote at any polling station in Kerkrade.

With your voting pass, you can vote at any polling station in the municipality of Kerkrade. Bring your voting pass and proof of identity with you to the polling station. Your proof of identity may be no more than 5 years out of date on the day of the election.

Are you unable to vote yourself? For example, because you have to work or are ill? Then you can give someone permission to vote on your behalf.
