Voting card lost, damaged or not received

Are you registered in the Municipal Personal Records Database of the municipality of Kerkrade on February 2, 2026? And are you eligible to vote (you are eligible to vote)? 

You will then receive a voting pass that you can use to vote in Kerkrade in the municipal council elections. Your voting pass will be delivered to your home by March 4, 2026, at the latest.

Did you not receive a voting pass, did you lose it or is it badly damaged? Then you can request a new voting pass from the municipality. This can be done digitally or orally.

Voting card damaged

Whether you can vote with a damaged voting pass depends on the type of damage. The following parts of your voting card should still be good:

  • Your name, address and place of residence
  • Your date of birth
  • What election is it about
  • Voting card number
  • The hologram on the voting card

Requesting a replacement voting pass digitally

You can apply for a replacement voting pass digitally via iBurgerzaken until Friday, March 13, at 5 p.m. Please have your DigID login details ready. You will need these to log in.

This digital form will be available from March 2026.

Orally requesting a replacement voting pass

You can request a new voting pass verbally until Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at 12:00 noon. To do so, you must come in person to the city office (Markt in Kerkrade). An Make an appointment not necessary.

Bring a copy of your ID. You will submit this with the application.
