Incentive scheme Kerkrade-Centrum

The Kerkrade City Council has provided a budget of €50,000 for 2019 to encourage entrepreneurship in Kerkrade Center. A further €50,000 has been made available in 2020. Entrepreneurs who meet the Requirements listed in the so-called Incentive Scheme Winkelconcentratiegebied Kerkrade Centrum 2019, may be eligible for a contribution of up to €10,000 per enterprise. With this scheme, the council hopes to give an additional boost to the quality of the shopping area in the town center.

The Incentive Scheme is a measure designed to further strengthen the town's core and promote the business climate in Kerkrade Center. Specifically, the scheme means that entrepreneurs who wish to set up store in the established Kerkrade Center shopping concentration area may be eligible for a financial contribution. The Incentive Scheme describes exactly what Requirements the entrepreneur must meet to be eligible for a contribution.
