Incentive scheme District shopping areas Kerkrade

Effective October 1, 2024, the Kerkrade Town Council has made available a budget of EUR 100,000 to stimulate entrepreneurship in Kerkrade. Entrepreneurs who meet the Requirements listed in the so-called Stimuleringsregeling Wijkwinkelgebieden Kerkrade 2024 may be eligible for a contribution of up to €10,000 per enterprise. With this scheme, the council hopes to give an additional boost to the quality of the shopping areas in Bleijerheide, Spekholzerheide, Eygelshoven, Hertogenlaan, Chevremont and Terwinselen.

The Incentive Scheme is a measure designed to promote the business climate in Kerkrade's district shopping areas. Specifically, the scheme means that entrepreneurs who wish to set up store in the designated shopping areas may be eligible for a financial contribution. The Incentive Scheme describes exactly what Requirements the entrepreneur must meet in order to be eligible for a contribution.
