Come to the Grant Café: Discover the opportunities for your organization or initiative

Volunteers, organizations, and engaged residents make Kerkrade stronger. Through their dedication, ideas, and initiatives, they contribute every day to a livable, active, and vibrant city. To support them in this effort, Vrijwillige Energie, in collaboration with the Municipality of Kerkrade, organizes the Subsidy Café.

Are you active in an association, foundation, or organization in Kerkrade? Or do you have a great idea for your neighborhood or our city and want to know which grant opportunities are available? If so, you’re warmly invited to join us on Wednesday, July 2, 2026, at ’t Westhoes.

Program

  • 6:30 p.m.: Doors open 
  • 7:00 p.m.: Program begins 
  • 9:00 p.m.: Closing ceremony 

Inspiration, Knowledge, and Connections

This interactive evening will focus on networking, knowledge sharing, and inspiration. Representatives from the Limburg Province Quality of Life Fund, Vrijwillige Energie, and the Municipality of Kerkrade will share their knowledge, experiences, and practical tips on grant opportunities.

In addition, there will be plenty of opportunity to ask questions, share experiences, and talk with other organizations, volunteers, and initiative leaders from Kerkrade.

What can you expect?

During the Subsidy Café:

  • you'll receive practical tips and guidance on applying for grants; 
  • introduces you to various grant providers; 
  • you'll hear inspiring real-life examples; 
  • you can ask experts your questions; 
  • You'll meet other organizations and initiative leaders from Kerkrade. 

Whether you already have experience with grant applications or are just looking to explore your options, the Grant Café offers valuable information, new insights, and opportunities to expand your network.
