Tower Street closed from July 7 to 12 due to closure of unsecured level crossing

This happens because ProRail and contractor Strukton are then working to close the unsecured level crossing. The detour also takes into account the road closures at Gravenweg and Rimburgerweg.

Here's what we're going to do on Tower Street

• A traffic control installation will be installed on Tower Street from Monday, July 04, to Wednesday, July 06, so that traffic can pass the work area in one lane. You will still be able to drive through Tower Street as usual.
• From Thursday, July 07 through Monday, July 12, Tower Street will be closed to all traffic. The detour will be signposted. 
• From Monday, July 12 through Friday, July 15, the traffic control system on Tower Street will be back in operation so that the clearance work from ProRail's work can proceed properly. You will be able to drive through Tower Street as usual.

Detour from July 7 to 12

From July 7 to 12, traffic from the Hopel junction can detour via Roderlandbaan, St.Pieterstraat, Eygelshovergracht, Kerkraderstraat, Veldhofstraat.
Traffic from industrial area Laura can detour via junction Reeweg (McDonalds), Reeweg, Europaweg Noord, Europaweg Zuid, Groenstraat, Rimburgerweg.

Stopping ban on Laura Street from July 7 to 12

The closure of Tower Street will result in more traffic crossing Laura Street. To ensure that traffic can easily pass each other on the narrow stretch of the street, no parking or stopping is allowed in the parking lane between house numbers 51 through 65A from July 7 through July 12. We will indicate this on site with traffic signs.
The Map shows the closed streets in red and the detour route in blue. The yellow triangle shows where you are not allowed to park and/or stop on Laura Street.
