You can view the draft zoning plan for the D'r Pool area starting Feb. 16
Recreational complex D'r Pool in Kerkrade-Centrum will be demolished in 2023. In its place will come apartments and townhouses in a beautiful residential environment.
The City Council approved the urban development plan for the area in November 2022. Using this plan as a basis, the municipality created a draft zoning plan. You can view the draft zoning plan for the area starting Feb. 16.
The draft zoning plan states what may happen to the land
The draft zoning plan states what may happen to the piece of land. So whether it can be built on, and what can be built on. Or that parts of the area should be green. This plan is now being put into procedure. Which means that mandatory steps are now being followed because the City Council still has to approve the plan.
You can review the plan and let the City Council know what you think
One of these steps is for you to review the plan and submit a view. This means letting the City Council know what you think of the plan. You can view the draft zoning plan starting Feb. 16, 2023. You can submit your views until March 30, 2023.
The council reviews all views before deciding on the plan
Once all the views have been looked at, the council will decide whether to approve the plan. The council has at least 12 weeks to do this. After approving the plan, the council must let you know within two weeks. We expect the council to make a decision in the 4th quarter of this year.
You can view the plan on our website or at the City Office
You can view the entire plan from February 16 on the project page Refurbishment area D'r Pool
The plan will also be available at the Information Desk in the City OfficeMarkt 33, Kerkrade) for six weeks starting February 16.
