With Vie - Living on the Move, the municipality of Kerkrade works with its residents and social local and regional partners on health and vitality. It is a place where people care for each other, move together, learn from each other and work together.
Vie has been realized on the site of the former Atrium hospital. Together with Martin Buberplein, the HuB. and Kerkrade center, Vie forms the municipality's new city center. But Vie is not only a physical place in the center of Kerkrade. Vie is also the movement that comes with life.
Vie becomes visible and tangible, in the city center to the capillaries of the neighborhoods. Vie stands for lifelong opportunities with programs that invest in healthy youth, vital aging and vital neighborhoods. With the deployment of a Knowledge and Expertise Center, Vie also becomes indispensable in the ambition of the South Limburg region to work on health and vitality.
