World Suicide Prevention Week: Wear the ribbon, wear it together

World Suicide Prevention Week will take place from September 7 through 13, 2026. By wearing the ribbon, you show that you’re open to talking about it—that you’re willing to listen, dare to ask questions, and make space for what often goes unspoken.

Together, we’re raising awareness about this issue.
Together, we’re talking about suicide.
Together, we’re starting the conversation.

Because asking the question can save a life.

That is why, during World Suicide Prevention Week, we wear the yellow-orange ribbon for suicide prevention. The ribbon symbolizes remembrance and light in the darkness. The warm colors of a candle flame tell a story of hope, comfort, and connection. A small ray of light that reminds us that suicide prevention concerns us all.

Together, we'll share the burden so that no one has to bear it alone.
