Accessibility center
The center of Kerkrade is easily accessible by car, train, bus, and bicycle. There is parking available in and around the center for cars. The first hour of parking is free, and on Sundays, parking is completely free. The Kerkrade Centrum public transport hub is within walking distance of the city center, and Theater Kerkrade is also within walking distance of the train station and bus station on Oranjeplein.
Parking
In Kerkrade Center, paid parking applies from Monday to Saturday between 9:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. You can park for free for the first hour at all locations. On Sundays, parking is free all day everywhere.

Train connection
Kerkrade Centrum station is within walking distance of the city center, including the Rodahal event venue (about a 15-minute walk) and the Discovery Museum (directly behind the museum).
Arriva's RS18 local train provides a direct connection between Kerkrade Centrum and Maastricht. The route starts in Maastricht Randwyck and stops in Valkenburg, Heerlen, and Landgraaf, among other places.

Bus stops
You can also easily travel by bus from the neighborhoods and surrounding municipalities to the center of Kerkrade. The bus stops at Oranjeplein or Kerkrade Centrum station. There are several buses per hour to these stops. This makes it easy to travel to other places in Kerkrade and the surrounding area.
Kerkrade can also be reached by bus from Herzogenrath.
