Proof of sponsorship and/or lodging provision

What is it?

Are you expecting a foreign visitor who needs a visa for the Netherlands? If so, you may be required to act as a guarantor for this visitor.

A guarantee means that you and your guest are jointly responsible for the costs (including accommodation) incurred by that person.

Is your guest staying at your home? Then you need a private accommodation permit

In the proof of sponsorship and/or lodging you explain why you invited the person. For example, for a vacation. This helps the person to get the visa.
