My name is Karel Arzt. I am married to Daniëlla and together we have 3 children and 4 grandchildren. I was born in Kerkrade and I live in Heerlen.
My career began in 1973 with the municipality of Kerkrade. I was then assigned to the then municipal police. I worked for the police for over 35 years and then I transferred to the municipality of Heerlen. At that time, now more than 10 years ago, I also became BABS for that municipality.
So I have been able to perform many marriages and registered partnerships. Since June 15 of 2022 I have also been appointed as BABS for the municipality of Kerkrade.

I am someone, who in an informal way, guides you through this beautiful day. I always say "it's your day and it has to be right". That means that I adapt to your wishes and requests. So it's not about me but about you.
