Our wedding officiants introduce themselves
The wedding officiant or extraordinary civil registrar (BABS) is an employee of the municipality, he or she leads the ceremony and performs the marriage or register the partnership.
If you opt for a marriage or partnership with ceremony, you can enter your preference for the wedding officiant in the wedding planner. We try to take this into account as much as possible, but there may be circumstances where the wedding officiant is not available at your chosen time.
