More grants for home insulation: come to the meeting

Residents of Kerkrade can register for a community meeting about the Parkstad Insulation Project. The meeting will take place on Wednesday, April 15, at the HUB in Kerkrade. During the event, the municipality will provide information about the project and the updated subsidy program for home insulation. There will also be an opportunity to ask questions.

More funding and more flexible Requirements

The subsidy for home insulation has been expanded. It has also been temporarily increased. If you install insulation yourself, you can receive a subsidy of up to €1,300. If you have two parts of your home insulated by a contractor, the subsidy increases to €2,300.

In addition, the program has been expanded: homes with a WOZ value of up to €247,000 are now eligible. This allows more residents to take advantage of the program. Another new feature is that Homeowners’ Associations (VvEs) can now participate.

Personalized advice at home

Once you sign up for the project, an energy-saving coach will visit your home at no cost. You will receive a personalized plan that includes recommendations, costs, and an estimate of the savings. You can then decide for yourself whether you want to implement the measures.

Alderman van Drunen (Sustainability): “Through the Parkstad Insulation Project, we’re helping residents lower their energy bills. In this way, we’re working together to build a sustainable and future-proof Kerkrade.”
