New construction plan Koempel street
On the Industriestraat in Kerkrade-West, a new small residential street will be created where 20 (partly life-long) rental homes will be built. The new residential street will be named Koempelstraat.
The homes will come in three appearances. There are houses of the type life-proof, corner house, middle house (4 block) and semi-detached type. All homes have a practical functional layout and garden.
The houses are built in a new way. They are largely made in elements in advance in the housing factory/workshop (prefabricated). Then these elements are assembled at the construction site.
This method greatly accelerates the construction process and construction time. As a result, completion is expected to take place in spring 2025. These rental homes are intended for various target groups such as starters, move up as well as seniors.
