There will be 52 new homes on the Directeur Geurtsstraat
On Directeur Geurtsstraat, there will be 52 new homes (rental and for sale): 27 single-family homes, 15 life-sustaining homes and 10 owner-occupied homes.
The plan for the 10 condominiums consists of two modern blocks of five single-family houses, including four corner houses and six townhouses. These homes are designed with an eye for comfort, luxury and convenience. Standard features of the homes include a living room, open kitchen (without set-up), 3 bedrooms, full bathroom, spacious attic with natural light and garden with storage. The new homes offer the assurance of an energy-efficient future with energy label A+++, a heat pump, underfloor heating, gasless installation and solar panels. There are ample parking facilities right by the homes.
Between Roderlandbaan and the area around the former Blijde Boodschapkerk will be 44 rental apartments
The 44 new apartments are divided into two 6-story residential buildings. There are 22 apartments in each residential block. The apartments are all located between Roderlandbaan and the area around the former Blijde Boodschapkerk. Depending on the location, you will have a beautiful view of the surrounding greenery and Rolduc Abbey. The homes have two bedrooms and are all accessible by elevator. We expect the homes to be completed in early 2025.
Highly energy-efficient, and gas-free
The emphasis is on sustainability, so the homes are very energy efficient. This also means that the homes are gasless. Heating of the home and water is completely electric. Cooking is also done electrically instead of gas.

When can I respond to a rental house or apartment?
At present it is not yet known when the ads for these homes will appear on the Thuis in Limburg website. Wonen Zuid does not work with a waiting list. It makes no sense to register your interest now. It is advisable to keep an eye on the website of Thuis in Limburg and/or to set up a tip message so you will be notified when Wonen Zuid advertises the properties.
