Butterfly Heath
The municipality of Kerkrade and Steenvlinder are joining forces to give the former monastery Pannesheide in Bleijerheide a new purpose and appropriate interpretation. In this national monument are 20 so-called kluswoningen realized. In these self-built homes, the owner determines the layout and final internal finish.
By refurbishing and making the monastery complex more sustainable, the new houses/apartments and the public outdoor space around them contribute to a pleasant living environment.
Steenvlinder started work around the area in March 2023 and to make complex "ready to build and job".
After completion, new owners can then start finishing their own dream apartment according to their own taste and wishes.
