The new municipal council of Kerkrade has been sworn in!
During the council meeting on June 3, the new mayor and aldermen were officially sworn in. This marks an important step in the start of a new term of office for our municipality.
The new coalition agreement sets the course for the coming years. It outlines the joint ambitions and plans to further strengthen Kerkrade in areas such as quality of life, sustainability, and economic development.
In the coming period, the municipal executive will be working hard to turn these ambitions into concrete actions and results. Together with residents, business owners, and community partners, we will continue to build a strong, future-proof Kerkrade. During the same meeting, five new council members were also sworn in.
